Evergreen Theater

Evergreen Theater EVERGREEN THEATER - providing the greater Green Bay, WI, area with multiple performances for youth, families, and contemporary audiences.

Our season consists of four Main-Stage and three Young Actors productions, running September thru May. Because we do not own our theater, we perform at St Norbert College's, Webb Theater. We do have our own rehearsal space and shop located at 1662 Morrow St, Green Bay, WI., and thus rely on hundreds of generous volunteer hours for an extraordinary collaboration of time and talent. Each Main-Stage

show provides six performances over two weekends, including one matinee. Our Young-Actors show presents five performances, with two matinees, in one weekend. This allows the audience a broad choice of dates and times to participate. We also offer during the summer, Young Actors workshops and training so students can learn all aspects of theater. Our goal is to give each cast the unique opportunity to develop and appreciate their characters fully; while teaching crew members the necessary details of keeping a successful backstage.

It's hard to believe Evergreen Theater's 2025-2026 season has come to an end. This season, we had our final performance at Cedar Creek and our final rehearsals at Morrow Street, and our first rehearsals and performance in our new forever home. Our volunteers went above and beyond in all areas of creating, designing, acting, directing, planning, moving, building, and so much more!
Here are just a few snippets from the performances and rehearsals of the past season, as well as the work put into creating our new space.

Time to catch up on some of the things that Evergreen has been up to. A couple of weeks ago, several Evergreen youth performed an Epic lightsaber battle as the halftime show for the Green Bay Blizzard's Star Wars night. They had a blast. Thanks to the Blizzard for the invite. Hope to do it again soon. Check out their performance.

Play us out, sound booth!
We had such an amazing time bringing "Junie B Jones: Toothless Wonder" to the stage! We are beyond proud of all our young actors who took on their roles, and all the ones who helped us out backstage. Thank you to everyone who helped make the show great, and to everyone who came to see the show!
