At 94 years old, Barbara Lawrence is still showing up for her community in remarkable ways.

She drives friends to appointments, helps care for family, stays active in her church and, for more than 20 years, has welcomed blood donors with a smile at Red Cross blood drives in Kalispell.

What started as helping after Hurricane Katrina turned into two decades of service as a Red Cross blood donor ambassador. Along the way, Barbara has made countless friends, brightened donors' days and become a beloved part of the blood drive experience.

"I just enjoy helping others," she says. "It makes me feel good."

Barbara's story is a beautiful reminder that kindness, connection and service have no age limit.
