Hey Great Falls, here is a great opportunity to find out what the next steps with the Downtown parking situation are!

Downtown parking - We know it’s a hot topic. 🚗🅿️

A quick heads up: The City Commission will receive a parking update at tomorrow’s Work Session (March 17), which starts at 5:30pm.

The update includes recommendations from the Downtown Parking Summit — a group made up of Great Falls downtown business owners, stakeholders, and residents.

Can't make it in person? Don't worry. The meeting will be live streamed (https://www.greatfallsmt.gov/344/Live-Meetings), and it will also be recorded and posted on the City website.📹

Are you feeling lucky? 🍀 We are, because we get to watch the super fun St. Patrick's Day Parade 🌈 in Downtown Great Falls! Bundle up and head downtown before the parade starts at 1:30! Make sure to stop into our amazing businesses for shopping, great food, and great drinks before and after the parade!

Road closures will be starting at 12:00, please remember to move any vehicles off of Central Ave before then! 😊See you Downtown!

Check this out! A great way to care for your fur babies with all this crazy wind and weather!

The City of Great Falls Animal Shelter will offer free engraved pet name tags March 11–14 to encourage pet identification following recent high winds in the community.

Wind events can increase the likelihood of pets becoming separated from their families due to damaged fencing, open gates, or frightened animals leaving yards or homes. Identification tags are one of the quickest ways to reunite lost pets with their owners.

The event is intended to help residents replace tags that may have been lost and to ensure pets have visible identification before future wind events occur.

During the same period, the shelter will also provide microchipping services for $25, offering permanent identification that can assist in returning pets home if collars or tags are lost.

Residents may visit the shelter during regular business hours. Walk-ins are welcome.

Monday–Wednesday & Friday: 12–4:30 PM

Thursday: 2–4 PM

Saturday: 10 AM–2 PM
