Santas Around The World 25 hand-crafted, life-sized Santas, appear in festive holiday décor in downtown Great Bend. on Nov. 29. Santa Claus is also available to visit with children.

The exhibit will be open to the public at 1223 Main Street, starting at approximately 6:00 p.m. ‘Santas Around The World’ Exhibit Opens November 27th, 2021. Opening day hours 6:30-8:15 pm. Twenty-four life sized Santas, representing countries and regions from around the world, appear in a winter wonderland of lighted trees and festive holiday décor in downtown Great Bend. The exhibit, known as “Sa

ntas Around the World,” will be open to the public at 1223 Main Street. The public can visit the international Santa display from 4-6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and from 1-6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. People can schedule appointments outside of those hours by calling Rosewood’s downtown Great Bend office at 620-792-2536. The Santa exhibit will be on display through Dec. 24th. The exhibit is freewill donation. Admission proceeds go to Great Bend’s Retired Senior Volunteer Program, and to the Rosewood Roots & Wings Foundation's Santas Maintenance Fund. The multi-cultural Santas are a collection that span five years of work and artistry by Great Bend artist Loretta Miller. The Santas have gained state and national recognition since their creation. Arts & Entertainment Network even featured Miller’s Santas in a 2003 holiday special, titled “Ultimate HolidayTown USA.”

Santa Claus also will be present at the location to visit with children during the same hours that the “Santas” exhibit is open to the public.

What a rush it was … Holiday 2025. We are sending a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who experienced the Holidays with us, either by visiting Santas Around The World and/or taking a tour on Dolly Trolley for our Holiday Lights Tour. More than 600 of you came to visit Santa and/or our Exhibit, and more than 1,500 of you took a ride on Dolly Trolley during our month-long Holiday Lights Tour.

Special Shout Out to Volunteers In Action of Central KS/AmeriCorps Seniors, and to Rosewood Miracle Workers AKTION Club for taking the extra time and doing your special greeting to make this Holiday season Joyous for all of us. We appreciate our expert Dolly Trolley Drivers who expectedly excelled as drivers, but also proved to be wonderful tour guides. We are grateful to all who sponsored and/or rode Dolly Trolley this season, and appreciative of those who turned their trolley tickets back when they could no longer use them. That act of kindness allowed others to ride. Last but never least, thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus for bringing hope and happiness to all of us youngsters from < 1 to 93. (Yes, Janet, we are talking about you and appreciate you stopping in.)

Santas Around The World has closed for the 2025 season and Santa Claus has flown to the North Pole to prepare for his BIG NIGHT. We thank everyone who visited Santa and our Santas exhibit this year.
