Jimmy Buffett was a big supporter of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and had the following to say back in a 2012 visit during the 30th Anniversary of the Groundbreaking of The Wall:

"I am of the Vietnam Generation, though I did not serve in Vietnam. But on my many visits from Margaritaville to Washington, D.C. over the years, I always made it a point to go by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to see friends that I had lost during the war."

From Washington, D.C. to Margaritaville, RIP Jimmy.
