Calling all Pheasant Hunters 📢 As Opening Weekend kicks off don't forget about our Longest Tail Feather Contest.

The winner of each division will receive a $50.00 Chamber Gift Certificate and plaque donated by No Limits Kennels, LLC , The Bobwhite Quail Forever Chapter - GBK , and Identifications Co.

✅ Youth Division -- 17 & Under
✅ Adult Division -- 18 & Older
Entries must be turned in by February 1st, 2023.
The winning entries will become property of the GBRC.

As Congress works to finalize an omnibus bill to avert a government shutdown, we urge our Congressional leaders to include the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act (RAWA) in the final bill language. If passed, the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act would provide states with critically important funding to restore essential habitat and implement state-specific conservation strategies for a wide range of wildlife species, especially ones at risk of population crashes, including bobwhite quail, lesser prairie chickens, and sage grouse.

Recovering America’s Wildlife Act has the support of state natural resource agencies and our nation’s foremost conservation groups. RAWA is a long-standing PF & QF priority.

Congress, it’s time for this legislation to reach the ground in the form of habitat.

We are excited to announce Lane Klepper as our scholarship recipient. Lane will be attending Kansas State University this fall and is majoring in Agriculture. Lane is an avid farmer and hunter and we couldn’t have found a better recipient. We are excited as a chapter to see everything that Lane accomplishes in the future!
