Thank you so much to everyone who hiked, biked, or supported those who did, for our Trample on Trauma fundraiser! God is Jehovah Jireh, and He is our provider. We had a blast, everyone was safe, Roxy's birthday was celebrated well, and God provided financially! It was a good day to be a part of the Redemption Youth Ranch family!

God is calling one of our precious junior mentors to a different ministry beginning this weekend. She's been in the ranch since it's inception and has mentored since she was a junior, junior mentor! 😉 Loving children and youth, listening, laughing, and sharing the gospel at the ranch from the time she was a child herself, she has grown into a beautiful warrior for Jesus, a passionate follower of Christ, a lover of people, and a gifted and anointed worship leader who escorts us to the throne room of God each week as she leads us in praise.

The Lord directs our steps, and He is calling her out of ranch ministry and into Youth With a Mission (YWAM) where she will attend a discipleship training school before heading to South Africa to fulfill her calling to evangelize and lead people in worship.

There are no words for how much we will miss her. She gallops into hearts just like her horse Juniper, and her absence will leave a hole. But we are so excited for her, and proud of her, as she follows the Lord's leading.

" May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, may the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace." And "Be strong and courageous, the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

We love the kids that we mentor at Redemption Youth Ranch. We love spending time with them and listening and loving. But we also love the moms who are part of the ranch family. Spending time with the moms is a precious part of this ministry and it was a special gift to all of our hearts when, at the end of the session, one of our girls called her mom over so that she could show mom everything she has learned. It was beautiful. And this amazing mom who has shown herself to be strong and brave and supportive in so many ways, clambered onto the back of a horse to invest in her daughter's healing. Our sweet teenage girl led mom around on a horse for the last 15 minutes of the session! Praise God.

Rescue. Restore. Redeem. 🙌

God is Elohim, our strong creator God. When we create, we are reflecting part of His nature. While working side by side at the ranch, doing chores or fishing, archery or horsemanship, games or art, Elohim is creating and building beautiful relationships that He is using to bring healing to our precious kids.

" For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:10

One of the most important ways God calls us to participate with Him in each other's lives, is to pray. When we pray, we lift one another straight up to the very throne room of Abba Father!!!! The most crucial way we can impact others is to pray for them, that God's will would be done in their lives, just as it is in heaven. May His kingdom come to the lives and hearts of our youth and their families.

El Roi is the God who sees. He sees who we really are. He sees what we have been through and how it has affected us. He sees far beyond what we show other people. God looks at our hearts, He knows us, He loves us. He sees. And we are grateful for the opportunity to listen, to love, and to see our kids at the ranch. What a gift it is to be invited to be God's hands and feet and heart to our youth whom we love so much!
