Immigrants Rising is partnering with the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office to better understand and strengthen support for AB 540 students, undocumented students, and students from mixed-status families across the California Community Colleges system.
We invite students to participate in an important survey that will help inform statewide recommendations to improve services, resources, and campus supports for undocumented students. Your experiences and perspectives are essential in helping us identify what is working well and where additional support is needed.

What is EatWell?
Placer County, along with local partners and CalRecycle, unveiled the EatWell app, an innovative opportunity for restaurants, cafes and food businesses to address food waste and food insecurity.

EatWell is a mobile app that connects edible food generators, such as restaurants, stores, schools, and hotel and hospital cafeterias, with people in need.

The app is only available to individuals and families screened by a community-based organization, ensuring that extra food is placed in the right hands.

On this Juneteenth, we pause to honor a profound moment in American history — the emancipation of enslaved people and the enduring spirit of those who survived it. Their story is woven into the fabric of this nation. Today, we lift it up. And we remember that the work of building a more just world belongs to all of us.
