The Little Miss AKA Pageant is a culmination of a series of cultural, educational, and fundraising events for girls entering in the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th grades. This signature program promotes and cultivates etiquette, elegance, and poise.

The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Xi Tau Omega Chapter will provide weekly educational enrichment events. We will conclude with a grand pageant. The girls will perform an opening routine, showcase their unique talent, and be presented to the community in pageant attire.

📊 The Power of Data: Turning Service into Story

Last week, Xi Tau Omega gathered for an engaging leadership development session, led by Kelli Turner, PR Storytelling: The Power of Data, focused on strengthening how we capture, communicate, and celebrate our impact.

Together, attendees invested 22.5 collective training hours in leadership development, reinforcing our commitment to excellence in communication, community engagement, and chapter operations.

Our impact included:

💚 15+ members trained on PR storytelling, brand standards, and impact reporting

💗 22.5 collective leadership development hours dedicated to strengthening chapter communications and visibility

💚 100% participation in interactive learning activities, including social media engagement and impact storytelling exercises

💗 1 chapter-wide data collection framework reinforced to improve reporting, recognition, and historical recordkeeping

💚 3 key focus areas addressed: PR compliance, impact measurement, and digital engagement

Throughout the session, members explored how data can strengthen award submissions, support sponsorship opportunities, amplify community impact, and preserve the legacy of our chapter for future generations.

Every volunteer hour, every dollar raised, every life touched, and every story shared matters. When we collect the data, we don't just measure impact, we honor it.
