There’s nothing quite like putting Rotary in action! Our KC South Rotarians recently spent time building dressers that will serve individuals and families through Flourish: A Furniture Bank. Flourish has been helping turn a house into a home with something as simple, and meaningful, as a place to put your clothes and so much more since 2009!

This is what Service Above Self looks like: showing up, working together, and using our time and talents to make a difference right here in our community. 💛

Last week, 100 Women Who Care-Cedar Creek - Olathe, KS presented Flourish with a giant check for $1000!

Flourish was one of three featured charities selected by the group to receive support this quarter. 100 Women Who Care brings women together to learn about local nonprofits and provide meaningful financial support to organizations making a difference in our community.

We are so grateful to be among the organizations they chose to support, and for the impact this generous gift will have on the families we serve!

Volunteer Ruth used some of her free time to put her handy DIY skills to work, turning the sleeves of her Flourish shirt into a fabulous Flourish fringe! Rick liked it so much, she made one for him, too!

Our supply is running low, and we need your help! If you have clean, sturdy cardboard boxes taking up space in your garage, basement, or closet, we’d love to give them a second life by filling them with household essentials that help local families with a fresh start.
