We hate to ask too often but we need some help.
In May, we took in 79 cats/kittens and 4 dogs for a total of 83 animals. This past week we’ve taken in 17 kittens and 4 adult cats from our friends at Feral Cat Solutions alone. ALL of these animals need vet care, most including spay/neuter surgery.
We are grateful to be able to work with CSNIP to get this done. In fact, we have 20 animals going in for spay/neuter surgery tomorrow along with rabies vaccines for those old enough and FIV/Felv tests.
Let us break down those costs for you. 💵
20 spay/neuter surgeries ($80 each) = $1,600
8 rabies vaccines ($25 each) = $200
13 FIV/Felv tests ($35 each) = $455
🛑 TOTAL 🟰 $2,255 🛑
That is a HUGE amount for this small rescue. This on top of several dentals for cats, boarding for a dog, leg amputations, a tail amputation and exploratory surgeries has us really struggling.
We don’t make up much of the vet costs with adoption fees. Most often, we spend much more than the $100 or $125 fee we collect per cat.
That’s where you come in. We can only survive and continue to help animals if we get donations.
🙏 Can you help us cover the $2,255 bill we’re looking at tomorrow?
