Hope For Women and Children of Southern Sudan

Hope For Women and Children of Southern Sudan Looking forward to a productive 2010. So many in Southern Sudan need our help.

We are in desperate need of a grant writer who is either willing to do the work for free (a student who is looking for experience would be great) or someone who can write their fee into the grant. Please leave a message here if you are at all interested. Blessings.

Wow we went over 100 fans today. It is gratifying to know that so many people have a heart for those that are in need. Look for more updates as we get our t-shirts up for sale and start planning fund raising events to build a clinic for the Women and Children in Bor South Sudan.

2010 is going to be our year! Teresa spent 2009 getting everything in order through all the appropriate legal channels to establish Hope For Women and Children of Southern Sudan as a non-profit and for donations to be tax deductible. Teresa also made a trip back to the Sudan this summer to look for land and the approvals to build her clinic. Since we've overcome those hurdles the serious fund raising can begin. There are t-shirts we have for sale and we hope to host some fund raising events. Teresa even got some nice coverage from WOOD-TV. We'd love to have some volunteers to help with grant writing. If you're interested, let me know via this fan page. In the meantime, here's the footage of Teresa and her story in her own words. God Bless and many thanks. Cindy Grace
