The World's Largest Musical Fountain of its kind! Celebrating over 60 years! Each 25-minute show features a different theme.

The Grand Haven Musical Fountain is a synchronized water and light show accompanied with music of all varieties. Different shows play most nights at dark from Memorial Day thru Labor Day; Fridays and Saturdays only in May and September. Best viewed from Waterfront Stadium; however the Fountain can be easily experienced 1/4 mile either side on the Grand Haven Boardwalk. Built in 1962, it is the world's largest Musical Fountain of its time with the only comparable fountain being those at the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas, NV.

While its image is iconic to my fountain, The Peacock was not an original feature! 🦚

Consisting of 12 nozzles facing outward near the back of the fountain, The Peacock was added later as an enhancement rather than part of the initial build. It’s been a fan favorite over the years and my choreographers love making the lights dance across its fanned water.

Tune into 92.1 WGHN for a fountain update from Jerry! He will discuss highlights from my 2026 season and work the committee is doing to prepare for 2027.

Jerry is the chair of my City Committee and the President of the Friends of the Fountain 501c3 that does all my fundraising. ☺️ I regularly get to hang out with him on Thursdays when the volunteer crew is working on my maintenance items.

It’s “Meet My Moves” Monday!

Arching across the fountain, my Bazooka nozzles are fixed on each side of my basin. My Bazooka are original fountain features, installed in 1962. They were included in the initial engineering and design by William Morris Booth II alongside the core water modules still running today.

Great Scott, fans! I almost missed that it was Back To The Future Day!

I enjoy dancing along to the Back To The Future theme during my Night At The Movies, Sci-Fi, and 80s themed shows. I wish I could hop in a DeLorean and go back to summer nights filled with great songs like this.

I can't wait to play this song, and many more next season!

Sweeping across my shows, The Sweeps dance left to right for each of my songs. While my spinning features were later additions, this moving element is all original.

My choreographers can program them to move at different speeds and paths to match the rhythm of my music.

🎶 I like to move it, move it! 🎵 especially with my Helix water feature!

Added in 2017 as part of a Grand Valley Senior Project, it was the first major water feature updates in over 50 years.

It is a four-arm spiraling water feature that can shoot water up to 50 feet high and it shines bright under my new lights.
