Chabad of Orange County

Chabad of Orange County Chabad of Orange County is dedicated to serving the local Jewish community with an unconditional love and concern for every Jew, regardless of background.

Chabad is an international Jewish organization with over 3,000 institutions world-wide, inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson. We are dedicated to serving the Jewish community with warmth, joy, and unconditional love and acceptance for every Jew regardless of affiliation or level of observance. Our philosophy is that Torah must be presented and experience

d in a modern, relevant context and made available to each individual on their own level. Our mission is to promote and strengthen Jewish awareness, pride, and observance, by providing educational, cultural, and social activities in a joyous and casual atmosphere. Description
To join Chabad is to enjoy an inspiring synthesis of delights for body and soul. Services are not only about prayers and rituals, but moreover about celebrating one’s Judaism as a dynamic and enriching community experience; an experience harmoniously shared by Jews of any and all backgrounds.

Baruch Hashem.
What an historical moment in Goshen Chabad!
I have helped many people put on Teffilin in my life, however, this time it was something so special and meaningful /emotional for me.
Wrapping teffilin on Bar the last hostage to be released from Hamas- it is so inspiring to see his strong commitment and faith in Hashem!

With standing room only close to 175 people packed into the Chabad in Goshen Center to hear Bar’s story!
Thank you so much to so many people who sponsored and helped make this event happen!

Yesterday was a very special day on the Chabad calendar. Our Rebbe’s yartzeit.

Everything we do here at Chabad , the whole reason we are here to begin with is because of the Lubavitcher rebbe .

The Rebbe taught us the importance of every Jewish soul.
Of seeing each Jew as a treasure and a responsibility .
As our brother and sister.
That love is what motivated the Rebbe to send out Chabad emissaries to every country and city in the world which it is today and that’s why we are personally here in Orange County.
The Rebbe spoke about every single Jew with so much love, so much care like a father speaks to his children.
This is what we all felt on October 7. The Jewish people are one nation, and we felt it viscerally, a painful stab in the heart, for every person that was killed and for every hostage that was taken.
I know that I am not alone in saying that I did not get a restful sleep Until EVERY hostage came home. My first thought was about them when I awoke each morning, when I was in a comfortable position I thought of them.
When we were eating we thought about them starving.
When we were laughing we felt guilty. That is the feeling of connectivity that the Jewish people have and that is what we lived with until every single last one was home.
I find it so beautiful that on Gimmel Tamuz, the Rebbe’s yartzeit we got to host Bar Kupershtein, a hostage. Because the Rebbe‘s message of love and care for every Jew is what brings us to stand together, to stand up for every Jewish person and to feel their pain and they’re suffering just like it’s ours.
It’s one message
it’s one circle of love
And we were thrilled beyond to host Bar on this very special day in tribute to the Rebbe.
Lechayim to being one great big family!
Thank you to the generous community we live in to sponsor and make this momentous evening happen.
And Kudos to Rabi Meir Borenstein who didn’t give up and pursued this goal for a long time. Baruch HaShem.
