While the Moodna might be modest compared to the Hudson, it influences the development and character of every community it runs through, and serves as a vital drainage system for Eastern Orange County.

The official designation of the Moodna as an inland waterway allows municipalities to access grants and state support for the development and stewardship of this resource, and I was proud to see it pass the Senate this year.
