🇺🇸 Nation of Patriots – Patriot Tour | Maine 🇺🇸

What an incredible morning here in Maine! A heartfelt ceremony was held to honor our POW/MIA and all those who did not return from war — a solemn reminder of the sacrifice and service of so many brave Americans.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this morning so meaningful:

🇺🇸 Honoring a True Patriot of Service — Linda Smilie 🇺🇸

We are incredibly proud to recognize Linda Smilie as a recipient of the flag on the Nation of Patriots Patriot Tour!

Linda may not have worn a uniform, but her dedication to those who did is unwavering. As Vice Chair of the Veterans Cemetery Association in Springvale, Linda stands watch over the sacred ground where our heroes rest — ensuring the grounds are maintained with the dignity and respect our veterans deserve.

But Linda doesn’t stop there. She is also the heart behind the Honor in Stone Ride, an annual event she organizes to raise funds for monuments in the cemetery — making sure the legacy of those who served is etched in stone and never forgotten.

Linda, receiving this flag is a testament to your service — not in uniform, but in heart, in action, and in tireless dedication to our veterans’ memory.

While circumstances prevent her from being there in person tomorrow to carry the flag into Massachusetts, we want her to know: your mission as flag bearer will be fulfilled with full honor. This flag will make its journey, just as you have always made sure our veterans are never overlooked.

🏍 I am so excited and honored to be singing the National Anthem and riding out with my brothers and sisters of the American Legion Riders Chapter 90 10th Annual Hero Pups Ride in memory of Lee Weldy on June 27 in Raymond NH 🎤🇺🇸 It is going to be a great day, for an even greater cause. I hope to see you there!
