The reason she needed saving 💔😞

Today, Stella looks like any other happy, healthy cat. But just one month ago, her future was far less certain.

Stella was found alone and panting in the bushes at a gas station. She was rushed to an emergency vet, where staff discovered severe burns on her paws, belly, and mouth. As we worked to uncover what had happened, we learned the heartbreaking truth: Stella had been abandoned by her owner.

Healing from her injuries took more than time alone. Stella needed daily wound soaks, burn ointment, medication to manage her pain and anxiety, and plenty of Churu treats to help those medications go down (and because she was such a good girl through it all). ❤️

Cases like Stella's are why your support matters. Every Paint Party ticket purchased helps provide the medical care, supplies, and second chances that cats in crisis depend on. Stella has come a long way in just a few short weeks, and we're so grateful she's here to share her story.

🎨🐾 Join us this Friday and help make more happy endings like Stella's possible.

😉 See you Friday?

Mabel seems pretty sure she knows the answer.

This is your reminder that the Paint Party is just 3 DAYS away! And yes, kittens like her will be joining us for the festivities. 🐾 See below for details and ticket info. 👇

While Mabel is healthy, happy, and full of personality, every kitten who comes through our care needs veterinary attention to get there. Vaccines, exams, testing, parasite prevention, and other routine care add up quickly. Every Paint Party ticket contributes to that care while supporting rescue efforts throughout our community.

We (kittens included) can't wait to see you! 💜🎨

What a week! ❤️

The past seven days brought us a string of heartwarming adoptions, including a few that feel especially momentous.

Handsome gray kitten AJ found his forever home on Monday, while our resident charmer Fabio once again proved that resistance is futile, completely winning over his adopter. Spirited gray girl Lily headed home to meet two canine housemates who are eagerly awaiting their new feline friend.

In a classic foster fail, one of our volunteers fell head over heels for Sheriff and Bunkie, the outlaw kittens rescued from a jail. We had a feeling those boys were plotting to stay all along.

Some stories touch our hearts in a deeper way. Sweet Diana, who required intussusception surgery while in our care, found a family willing to embrace uncertainty and love her wholeheartedly. We cannot predict how much time Diana has ahead of her, but her adopters felt strongly that she deserves every ounce of love, comfort, and happiness they can give during her time on Earth.

Beautiful calico Tinsel also found her match with a patient couple prepared to invest the time and understanding needed to help a shy cat blossom into her best self.

And finally, after 280 days at the Center, our affectionate mother-and-daughter panthers Cami and Bea went home together. While we will miss these wonderful girls terribly, our hearts are overflowing with happiness knowing they spent last night in a real home, surrounded by love and beginning the next chapter of their lives.

Congratulations to all of our adopters, and thank you for opening your hearts and homes to cats in need. Every adoption creates space for us to help another cat, and every happy ending reminds us why we do this work.

🎃🐾 The results are in! 🐾🎃

After carefully reviewing your suggestions (and definitely not accepting bribes in the form of treats), our cats have officially chosen their Halloween costumes! 👻✨

🤠 Bronson the Cowboy - Ready to round up toys, tumbleweeds, and any treats left unattended.

🦇 Zoya as Batwoman - Protecting her kingdom, enforcing her boundaries, and fighting laser-pointer crime one zoomie at a time.

💪 Gemma as Wonder Woman - After raising six kittens, we think she's more than qualified to wear the title of superhero.

👑 Stella the Princess - Living the royal lifestyle she has always known she deserved.

🧚 Talia the Fairy - A shy little woodland fairy who prefers gentle magic, quiet corners, and trusted friends by her side.

📚 Tinsel the Librarian - Please keep your voices down. Naps are in session, and overdue books will be met with judgment.

⚾ Lily the Baseball Player - Small but mighty, always ready to swing for the fences and chase down anything that moves.

🎃 Oksana the Pumpkin - Sweet, seasonal, and slowly growing into the confident little gourd she was meant to be.

A huge thank you to everyone who submitted ideas and helped our adoptable cats prepare for spooky season! 🧡

And here they are, the crew showing off their winning looks! 🎉We'd love to hear which costume is your favorite in the comments below!

😮 Have you seen a cuter face??

Meet one of four tiny arrivals who came through our doors this morning. 💜 Is she adorable? Absolutely. But our ultimate goal is to create a future where fewer kittens need rescuing at all.

When you purchase a Paint Party ticket, you're helping fund the incredibly important work that keeps litters like hers from multiplying year after year. Your support helps turn compassion into action.

Because kittens are cute. Overpopulation isn't.
