A global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the World, one child and one community at a time! Members have a long history of caring and service.

Please consider joining our club and sharing your time and talents! Kiwanis is a global organization of member-volunteers who are committed to changing the world, one community and one child at a time. The Kiwanis Club of Glens Falls was founded almost 100 years ago in 1925 by community-minded citizens from the greater Glens Falls region. Today, our membership is nearly 70 men and women who have a desire to make this community a better place to live, work and build a life. You’ll find us investing our time and talents supporting the community by assembling tents for senior centers, assisting at food drives, reading to children at Head Start, bowling for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, ringing bells for Salvation Army and much, much more. You may also know us from our high-visibility fundraisers both past and present. We host the Annual Rubber Duck Race and Family Fun Day, our Putt Above Golf Tournament and for over 25 years, the Taste of the North Country Festival in City Park. Today, one of our signature events is the Spirits in the Trees holiday celebration in Crandall Park in December. These community service projects and fundraisers are both fun and rewarding for members volunteering their time and talents to create and execute. Volunteering with Kiwanis generates camaraderie amongst members and creates life-long friendships, in addition to knowing you’re making a significant difference in the lives of children and individuals in our greater community. Our Kiwanis Club is also responsible for developing our future leaders through our high school leadership development program, Key Club, an international Kiwanis initiative which is the world’s largest and oldest service organization for High Schools. We support 10 Key Clubs in schools from Warrensburg to Fort Edward. Our Kiwanis Foundation, the charitable arm of our Kiwanis Club, has provided over $350,000 to graduating Key Club students for their continuing education. We also support an Aktion
Club for people with disabilities and a Builder’s Club for middle school students in Glens Falls. We would very much welcome you to become part of this wonderful organization through membership. 🎄 CRANDALL PARK IS ABOUT TO BECOME A GLOWING SCRAPBOOK OF OUR COMMUNITY. ❤️

If you had a tree in Crandall Park this Christmas, who—or what—would YOUR tree celebrate?

Your family? Someone you love? A teacher who made a difference? Your employees or customers? A friend you'll never forget? The best dog who ever lived? Or simply this community we call home?

Tell us below. 👇 We really want to know.

This December, 170 Christmas trees will fill Crandall Park—each decorated by a family, business, organization or group from our community, and each telling its own little story.

But here's the exciting news... we're getting close to selling out! 🎄

More and more families, businesses and neighbors have already reserved their trees, and we'd love for YOUR story to be part of this year's celebration!

Walk through the park and you'll see more than lights and ornaments.

You'll see us.

Our families. Our memories. Our businesses. Our friendships. Our gratitude. Our community.

And while we're creating something beautiful together, we're also doing something good together. Proceeds from Kiwanis Spirits in the Trees help the Kiwanis Club of Glens Falls support children, families and organizations right here in our area.

🎄 DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO BE PART OF IT!

Trees are $110 and include a sign telling visitors who your tree celebrates. You provide the decorations and outdoor LED lights.

Spirits in the Trees runs December 5 through January 2 at Crandall Park in Glens Falls.

Last year's trees sold out early, and with only a limited number remaining, NOW is the time to reserve yours!

👉 Want a tree? DM us TODAY and we'll send you the participation form!

Come put your story in the scrapbook before the last tree is spoken for. 🎄❤️

Hey - Are you going out to dinner this weekend?

Imagine if $20 of the cost of that dinner went to help Kiwanis help our community.

If you had a TASTE of.. Gift Certificate, it would.

No cost to you!!

Explore new restaurants likeThe Docksider Restaurant or...

eat at a favorite like Bogey's Pub and Grill at Bay Meadows!

Same Food. Same Bill. The only thing different is whether Kiwanis get's $20.

Can you please help us in one of two ways:

1. BUY A GIFT CERTIFICATE (obviously)
2. LIKE, COMMENT or FORWARD this post. It helps more people see this post.

The more you do the above, the more money we can use to help NFP's in our community like WAIT House.

See comment for link to buy gift certificates for you, your friends, your employees, your coworkers, and/or your neighbors.

🍽️ SOME GIFTS END WHEN THE PLATE IS EMPTY. THIS ONE KEEPS GOING. ❤️

Picture someone you love settling into a local restaurant. The menus come out. Maybe they order an old favorite; maybe they try something entirely new. For a little while, the only thing on the calendar is good food and time together.

Now picture that same dinner helping children and families all over our community. HOW??

That’s the lovely thing about TASTE OF... from the Kiwanis Club of Glens Falls. You buy a $50 gift card to a participating restaurant. The person you give it to gets $50 toward a meal. And the restaurant gives $20 helps Kiwanis support local kids and families.

The restaurant gets a guest. Someone you care about gets a night out. And the good from your gift travels beyond the table.

Who would you give a dinner out to? Tell us below. 👇

Explore the restaurants and choose your gift: https://glensfallstaste.com/ 💙

It seems like money magic...

You buy a $50 TASTE OF... gift card. You get $50 toward dinner at Chez Pierre. And Kiwanis receives $20 to help kids and families in our community.

Speaking of magic: have you tried Chez Pierre’s Beef Wellington? Filet, pâté and mushrooms wrapped in golden puff pastry. Now who's hungry?? (I am... for THAT!)

Thank you, Chez Pierre Restaurant, for supporting Kiwanis and the greater Glens Falls community! 💙

It seem’s a little early for “Ho! Ho! Ho!”

BUT the Holidays are just around the corner.

This year please consider the truely thoughtful gift of a Kiwanis Taste Gift Card!

Great for employee gifts! Great for friends and family.

Also GREAT for our community as these restaurants let Kiwanis Club of Glens Falls keep $20 for each one we sell.

You can help us help and give the gift of a great meal at a LOCAL restaurant!!

It’s a WIN-WIN-WIN!!

And why not buy a few for yourself! You will be eating out right?

Please like, comment and share! It helps us get the word out!!
