⛪ 10 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD GO TO CHURCH! ❤️

Life gets busy. Responsibilities pile up. And sometimes, without even realizing it, our faith and our relationship with the Church take a back seat.

But Church is more than a place we attend on Sundays. It is where we encounter Christ, grow in faith, find strength, and become part of a family that walks with us through life.

At , we believe that being part of the Church means more than simply having our name on a membership list.

✨ It's about belonging, believing, growing, and serving.

Whether you've been away from Church for years, attend only occasionally, or are looking for a spiritual home for yourself and your family, we invite you to rediscover what you've been missing.

🙏 Come to worship Christ.

❤️ Come to experience a community that cares.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Come to raise your children in a living, active faith.

🌱 Come to grow spiritually and discover your purpose.

Don't just belong to a Church on paper. Be part of a living family of faith!

You don't have to have everything figured out. Just take the first step.

COME AND SEE!

was blessed to welcome His Eminence Dr. Youhanon Mar Demetrios, Metropolitan of the Delhi Diocese and President of the Department of Ecumenical Relations of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

His Eminence celebrated the Holy Qurbana and delivered a powerful and inspiring homily on what it means to be witnessing Orthodox Christians in the world today, challenging and encouraging the faithful to live their faith boldly and authentically in their daily lives. Adding to the joy of the occasion, His Eminence graciously joined our parish family in celebrating the birthdays of several of our children, making their special day even more memorable!

Following the Divine Liturgy, His Eminence led the General Session for our Sunday School children, offering an engaging and meaningful lesson on the spiritual significance and symbolism of the censer in Orthodox worship. It was a wonderful opportunity for our youngest faithful to learn directly from a shepherd of our Holy Church.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to His Eminence for his love, inspiring words, and genuine warmth toward our parish community, especially our children.
May his visit continue to inspire us to grow in faith, strengthen our witness to Christ, and nurture the next generation of Orthodox Christians.

We pray that our Lord continues to strengthen His Eminence in his episcopal ministry and grant him many blessed years of faithful service.

CHILDREN BELONG IN CHURCH. ALWAYS. ❤️☦️

At , we want every family to know: Your children are always welcome!

If your baby cries, come to church.

If your toddler cannot sit still, come to church.

If getting everyone ready makes you late, come to church.

If your child asks questions, makes noise, or needs another bathroom break, come to church.

If your child has special needs, come to church.

If you spend most of Holy Qurbana caring for your children rather than listening to the homily, please come to church!

Children do not learn to worship by staying home until they can sit quietly. They learn by being present.

☦️ They learn to pray by hearing us pray.

☦️ They learn reverence by watching us worship.

☦️ They encounter Christ through the Holy Mysteries.

☦️ They learn that the Church is their home because we make room for them.

The whispers, wiggles, and cries are not distractions. They are signs of a living Church!

Through Holy Baptism, our children become members of the Body of Christ. They belong here, surrounded by the love, patience, and encouragement of their parish family.

Children are not simply the future of the Orthodox Church. They are the Church TODAY!

Bring your babies. Bring your toddlers. Bring your whole family.

There is a place for everyone at St. Andrew’s!
