🌪️⚠️Hurricane season is here, and preparation is one of the most important steps you can take to protect yourself, your family, and your community.

Before a storm approaches, build an emergency kit with water, food, medications, flashlights, batteries, and important documents. Create a family communication plan and stay informed through trusted weather and emergency alerts.

If a hurricane warning is issued, follow local authorities’ instructions immediately. Evacuate if directed to do so, or shelter in a safe interior room away from windows. Avoid flooded roads and never underestimate the power of moving water.

Preparation saves time, reduces risk, and helps communities recover faster. Stay ready, stay informed, and stay safe this hurricane season.

Volunteer Shoutout 🤩 🏅

Trevor Lucas of Port Richey, Florida has been a responder with Reach Out Worldwide since the onset of Hurricane Helene. Trevor just completed his 3rd deployment with ROWW during our response to the Lincoln County Mississippi Tornado that hit May 6th. 🌪️🪓

Trevor is now one of ROWW’s black shirt volunteers, which indicates the displayed of exceptional leadership qualities and an ability to lead our teams, coordinating volunteers, assessing storm damage and communicating with home owners to understand their immediate needs.

Trevor’s 6.6” height helps house his huge service driven heart for humanitarian aid. He is a veteran and works as a contractor in his home town, running his own company: “Big Foot Handyman Services”. His skills shine in rebuild efforts as much as they do in his amazing personability🚜

Our volunteers are the backbone to every project rendered! Thank you, Trevor, for your passion and commitment to helping those in need when it matters most.

👮🏽‍♂️🎖️ Reach Out World Wide was deeply honored to join the 53rd Annual Police & Citizens Awards Ceremony in Pasadena, hosted by our own John Brotherton.

The evening was profoundly moving as we recognized the heroic officers who stepped up with courage and compassion during the Eaton Fires of 2025.🔥

These dedicated men and women brought hope to countless families in their darkest hour. Their bravery will never be forgotten. 💪🏼
The recovery continues together, with strength, unity, and unwavering hope.

⚒️🪓🚜The mission continues in Lincoln County, Mississippi.

Today, we tackled a major tree debris removal effort after the tornado devastation.
Huge thanks to all the volunteers, tractor operators, and loggers who showed up ready to work and serve the community. 🪾🌳
Your strength, time, and dedication are helping families take the next step toward recovery and hope.

ROWW volunteers were fed well by Chef each day on deployment. The hospitality shared amongst both organizations is how team work inspires others!

Volunteer Shoutout 🫶🏼🌍

Lisa Blanc, from Altadena, California, lost her home in the Eaton Fires on January 8, 2025. A couple of weeks later, she connected with Reach Out Worldwide, receiving essential supplies and a sense of community. 🌟

Inspired by that support, she began volunteering with ROWW just two weeks later in our locations in Los Angeles CA, and ever since, she’s been a beacon of hope, walking alongside others who share her experience.⚒️❤️

🌟🧰🙏🏻This is the Jordan family’s testimonial, a couple who survived the Mississippi tornado by taking shelter in their shower as the storm tore through Lincoln County.🌪️

Team ROWW found them and immediately got to work, helping remove damaged belongings, tarping their roof, and cleaning up the debris.
But beyond the physical help, the most important mission was bringing hope, comfort, and understanding to those affected.🏡
