The Chancellor's Open House Series is back for its second season.

We invite interested hosts, both past and new, to consider opening their home or garden for a special gathering at a date, time, and guest capacity that’s convenient for them. We’ll help coordinate the guest list to ensure a memorable and meaningful experience for all.

The open house can take the form of a seated dinner, a casual cocktail hour, or a garden reception with hors d'oeuvres—whatever feels right for your space and schedule.

If you’re interested in hosting or would like to learn more, please contact us at [email protected] or 518-537-6622.

Information for interested attendees coming soon.

Our annual fundraiser is taking on a new look this year. To commemorate America's 250th anniversary, we're inviting guests to an afternoon garden-style cocktail reception on the lawn of a Founding Father—a historic setting as meaningful as the milestone itself.

Enjoy a variety of refreshments, savory sandwiches, and delectable sweets. Throughout the party, acclaimed violinist Leonard Hotea will provide a captivating musical backdrop.

Experience 18th-century games presented by Clermont State Historic Site staff — a fun glimpse into the leisure activities enjoyed during Clermont's early years.

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, there is no more fitting place to gather and reflect than on the grounds of one of the individuals who helped shape the American story. Join us for an unforgettable evening.

Tickets are on sale now! RSVP by Sunday, August 16.

You don't want to miss this weekend at Clermont! ⭐🪷

Join us this Saturday for a dedication of a new historical sign, commemorating General Lafayette’s September 1824 visit to Arryl House. The dedication ceremony for this new marker will take place as part of a Lafayette250 function, honoring Lafayette's contributions to American freedom as the United States marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Lafayette250 is the first nationwide effort celebrating the Semiquincentennial of Lafayette's historic participation in the American Revolution. The ceremony will include remarks from all stakeholders involved in the preparation of this marker, the formal unveiling of the new sign, and photo opportunities for attendees.

Then on Sunday, we invite you to join us for a relaxing morning of yoga at Clermont! Instructor Jai Sugrim has been teaching yoga, both locally and abroad, for 29 years. Today, Jai owns Jai Yoga Shala in Germantown, a place where diverse individuals can come together in unity through the practice of yoga. Participants are advised to bring their own yoga mats and water bottles. Classes take place outdoors. The event is free, but registration is required. Thank you to Jai Yoga Shala for partnering with us on this series.
