Join your local firefighters for a screening of the documentary Odd Hours, No Pay, Cool Hat and a Q&A session. Learn how volunteers are helping the community and how you can join them.

Save the date and make a lantern for Winter Glow (taking place Saturday, December 12)

Join us in the Library’s Maker Space for a puppet making workshop with Brad from Paper Hearts Puppets

Make your own lantern rod bird puppet – just for fun or to carry during Germantown’s Winter Glow on December 12.

The workshop is open from 10am to 2pm on December 6 so drop in and prepare to spend an hour or so creating your puppet!

All ages – little kids please bring a grown up with you.

Great news!

During April and May, Germantown Central School District raised $798 as a result of 190 coupons redeemed by our community and directed to our school. The PTSA uses funds like this to support events for the entire school.

We have a chance to do it all again in April 2027. There's no limit to how much our community can raise for our school. In past years, GCS has earned $2k with this program. Learn more: hannafordhelpsschools.com/faqs

Thank you for all the hard work of our coupon redeemers, and to the 2026 Hannaford Helps Schools program. Your support has made a meaningful impact on our school and your involvement and encouragement truly make a difference for our students, teachers and staff. Spooky Season lovers!
The Germantown Park Commission had such a wonderful time with you on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at the Germantown Haunted Hayrides. We’re so happy you joined us.

Please help us celebrate the more than 150 volunteers who made this event possible by giving their time, talents, and cheer. We are so grateful to the haunted hayride actors, site captains, lighting and sound enthusiasts, chaperons, haunted house designers and builders, wagon MCs, activity center craft leaders, food vendors, sponsors, ticket takers, fire department, town liaisons, event organizers, town employees, pumpkin farmers, the DPW, everyone who joined a meeting, shared ideas, shared information about the event, and of course, the guests who came and enjoyed the work and creativity of those in your community.

We probably left someone essential out . . . remind us who needs to be celebrated in the comments!
