Update: the Fox has been found.
Foxes on Front Statue Stolen Days After Project Debut

A newly unveiled piece of Georgetown’s “Foxes on Front” public art project has Foxes on Front Statue Stolen Days After Project Debut missing.
According to project organizers, one of the small fox statues located beside the Rice Museum was forcibly removed sometime after the project was introduced to the community last week.
The committee says years of planning, volunteer work, and financial support went into bringing the Colonial history project to life, and they are disappointed to see part of it taken so soon after its debut.
They are asking the person or persons responsible to do the right thing and anonymously return the missing fox through whatever means they choose.
If you have any information that could help, or if you are the person who took the statue, please consider returning it.
