Rodney J, Stalvey, what is going on with me? Lots of people have asked me that question, what's going on with my quest to create a statue of Francis Marion, here in Georgetown? Mainly, my health has been a big factor and trying to resolve pain issues, that have been a big influence in my life. I recently had my Left Knee replaced at Tidelands Health Orthopedics here in Georgetown and that was a wonderful thing that I had done. I'm still managing with pain issues and It looks as if I may have more surgeries down the road as well. Of course, I am doing a whole lot better and I'm now on the road to recovery. Soon, I hope to be reviving my quest to establish a much long awaited statue of the "SWAMP FOX" Francis Marion and a park here in Georgetown, honoring one of South Carolina's greatest Revolutionary War Heroes, yes indeed, General Francis Marion. I hope to soon be back in the saddle, so to speak, and politicking to those that might like to hear me about my quest. Just recently, I was accepted as a member of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), The Thomas Lynch Chapter here in Georgetown and I'm certainly so proud to be a member.
