It may be a cloudy week here in Georgetown, but our team always helps brighten things up! 🌈 ☁️ We’re so proud of our Donations team and the care and love they show for our neighbors and the visitors to our donations drive-through! This colorful crew and their team spirit (and coordinated shirts) always make us smile!

Say hi to the team and drop off your new and gently used items Monday - Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM!

Use caution when traveling on Railroad Ave. today, Monday, June 15th. A fallen tree is blocking much of the street near The Caring Place. Cleanup is in progress.

Our Fresh Food for Families events, a program offered in partnership with the Central Texas Food Bank, are changing! Visit us on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monday of each month to select fruits and vegetables from our farmer's market-style event!

2000 Railroad Ave.
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM*
*Food distribution will begin as soon as we unload the produce delivered to The Caring Place and is estimated to begin by 8:00 AM, but may begin earlier. Distribution will run until 10:00 AM or until all produce is gone.

For neighbors visiting the Fresh Food for Families Market:
🍎 Please bring your Caring Card or visit our Programs & Services office across the street to sign up
🍎 Park and walk to the covered parking spaces next to the Food Pantry
🍎 Select the produce and fresh foods of your choice

Need a fan to help fight the summer heat? You may be eligible if you meet any of the following:
❤️ age 55 or older
❤️ have a disability
❤️ are experiencing financial hardship
❤️ are part of a family with children

Proof of residency within The Caring Place service area (Georgetown, Andice, Bartlett, Florence, Granger, Jarrell, Jonah, Schwertner, Walburg, Weir, and the portion of Hutto that lies within GISD) is required.
