The flotilla was invited to attend the event and had five members available to represent the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Those present included FV Danciu, VFC/FSO-Anderson, FSO-PE Anderson, FSO-VE Zamora, and Member Jung. Throughout the event, members interacted with visitors, answered questions about boating safety, provided information about the mission and programs of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and shared details about upcoming flotilla events and public education opportunities.

The boat show attracted a variety of boating enthusiasts, from first-time boat owners to experienced mariners preparing for the upcoming boating season. Flotilla members were able to discuss safe boating practices, vessel safety examinations, boating education courses, and the many ways the Auxiliary supports both the Coast Guard and the local community.

Community outreach events such as this provide an important opportunity for the Auxiliary to engage directly with the public and encourage safe, responsible boating. The flotilla appreciates the invitation from Bass Pro Shops and looks forward to continued partnership opportunities in support of boating safety education and public awareness. ⛵️🛶🚤⚓️🛟
