The Islamic Center of Rowlett (ICR) is a branch of Muhammadia Madrasah, a traditional Sunni institution based in Michigan with roots in Southeast Asia. The institution was founded in 2002 by a dedicated Sunni Muslim brother in Michigan. Both ICR and Muhammadia are committed to promoting Islamic values and fostering unity within the Muslim community. With branches in Michigan and Florida, our current goal is to transform this church into a vibrant, inclusive mosque where the community can flourish. By providing a welcoming space for prayer, education, and community engagement, we aim to reflect our Islamic heritage and support spiritual growth. Your support is vital in bringing this vision to life. Alhamdulillah, we have already made significant progress, raising $1.2 million through the generosity of our community. However, we urgently need an additional $1 million to fully pay off the property. We humbly ask for your support—whether through donations or Qard al-Hasan (interest-free loans)—to help us reach our goal. To learn more and contribute, please visit our homepage. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us move closer to establishing a vibrant and thriving Islamic Center.
