This support group is for those who are care partners or preparing to be care partners for friends and loved ones experiencing brain changes (dementia, Alzheimer's, etc.). The support group will be led by Tim Verville, who is a certified Positive Approach to Care Trainer. Contact Pastor Melissa, [email protected], for more information. The group meets on the first Wednesday of the month in Room 140 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm and is open to the community, and new people can join anytime.

If you know, love, care for, support, work with, or advocate for someone living with mental illness, this is a great opportunity to learn skills and find support to be a better partner in their mental health journey. Whether you call First Rowlett your church home or not, we hope you’ll join us for this monthly support group. Join us on Wednesday, June 3 at 4:00 pm in Room 140. Please park on the west side of the building near the Family Life Center (FLC). The FLC doors will be open from 3:45-4:15 pm. This group will meet on the first Wednesday of every month and will remain open to new members year-round, so feel free to invite others to join you.
