Join us on March 11 at Epiphany Gallery in Downtown Garland as we kick off our scholarship season in style.

Huge congratulations to:

🏆 Anthony Saincilaire, President’s Award Recipient
🏆 Lisa Ray, TABSE Diva

Shaneia has been the heart of volunteering within TABSE for years. Anthony built an incredible Athletic Coordinator strand that continues to grow statewide.

And shoutout to everyone who came out to support the Youth Symposium, which featured the first ever TABSE Black History Quiz Bowl. 🙌🏾

We literally could not have hosted it without our GAABSE members serving as judges, scorekeepers, and room monitors. Your support made it possible for our students to shine.

Perfect, because we’ve got something fun and meaningful for your students to jump into!

In honor of Black History Month, TABSE is hosting an African American Quiz Bowl during Black History Month, and students across Texas are invited to participate.

🧠 How it works:
• Teams of 3–5 students
• Each team has an adult sponsor
• Three competition levels:
• Elementary
• Middle School
• High School
The quiz bowl will be virtual, with teams competing head-to-head on February 21, 2026

🏆 Prizes will be awarded for:
• An Elementary School winner
• A Middle School winner
• A High School winner
• AND a prize for each winning sponsor, because we know wrangling students virtually is no small task 😉

✨ If you’re home today, this is the perfect time to pull a team together.

This is not limited to teachers. Families, Greek Organizations, Jack & Jill Chapters, and other groups can sponsor teams. There is no entry fee!
