Good morning world. God loves you.

Man… my algorithm is on one right now.
Feels like God is dropping messages straight to me.

This one hit me:

“If everybody in the world wrote down their problems and put them in a hat… would you risk grabbing one, or keep yours?”

I needed that.

Because truth is—everybody’s carrying something.

“Each heart knows its own bitterness.” — Proverbs 14:10

We think we want different problems…
until we realize we don’t know what comes with them.

But here’s the shift:

“Give all your worries to God, for He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7

You don’t have to trade your problems…
you can hand them over.

God’s doing something in it:

“Suffering produces perseverance… character… hope.” — Romans 5:3–4

So don’t assume someone else has it easier.
They’re just carrying something different.

Keep your faith. Keep your perspective.
God’s not wasting anything

Good morning world. God loves you.

Ever notice how Paul talks about marriage?

He looks at the wives and gives one simple line…

“Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.” — Ephesians 5:22

Short. Clear. No follow-up questions.
He just moves on like, “They got it.”

Then he turns to the husbands… and it’s like,
“Alright boys, sit down, grab a notebook… this might take a minute.” 😂

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” — Ephesians 5:25

That’s not “be a good guy.”
That’s “die to yourself daily” kind of love.

And Paul’s still not done…

“He who loves his wife loves himself.” — Ephesians 5:28

In other words, “Hey man… this actually helps you too.” 😂

Still not landing? No problem—he keeps going:

“Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.” — Colossians 3:19

It’s like Paul knew…
the women would hear it once and say, “Got it.”

And us?
We’d be like, “Wait… say that again… but slower.” 😂

Truth is, leading a godly home isn’t about being in charge.
It’s about going first.

First to love.
First to apologize.
First to serve.
First to lay it down.

So yeah… one line for her.
A whole breakdown for us.

Honestly… feels about right.

Good morning world, God loves you!

The stone was rolled away.
The grave couldn’t hold Him.
Death was defeated.

If the tomb is empty… anything is possible.

That thing you’ve been praying about?
That weight you’re carrying?
That situation that feels too far gone?

It’s not over.

Walk in that today.

“Thank you” will never be enough for the men and women who have served this country so admirably. The freedom we enjoy was bought with their sacrifice and guarded by their courage.

To be able to call hundreds of these heroes our brothers, friends, and family is one of the greatest honors we’ll ever know.

From all of us — we salute you. We remember you. We’re grateful beyond words.

Feathers & Strings 2025 🎶🕊️

This past weekend was one to remember! Veterans, first responders, and patriots came together for a weekend filled with dove hunting, live music, and plenty of laughs.

But more than the hunting or the music, it was about camaraderie, fellowship, and supporting one another. When you put good people in God’s country with a shared mission, something powerful happens.

🙏 A huge thank you goes out to our sponsors who made this possible:
• Group One Rockwall Ford — our Title Sponsor who continues to step up time and time again.
• Our Gold Sponsors: Ace Fencing, Dex Imaging, and Collier Engineering — your support means the world to our mission.

We are beyond grateful for everyone who showed up, shared stories, and reminded us why these gatherings matter so much. Until next time—thank you for making Feathers & Strings unforgettable!

🇺🇸 Brotherhood. Fellowship. Legacy

Good morning world, God loves you.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day…”
— 2 Timothy 4:7–8

This week, we lost a dear friend of our organization. Ronal lived his life to the absolute fullest—faithful, bold, and unashamed to share Christ with anyone he met. You couldn’t spend 10 minutes with him and not know he took his Jesus very seriously.

Ronal was a 24-year veteran who served his country with honor and pride. There wasn’t a soldier of his who didn’t love and respect him for his leadership and service.

I’ll always be grateful that I got to spend time around a man who didn’t just talk about faith, country, and family—he lived it out daily. He walked the walk, talked the talk, and more importantly, left a legacy of Christ, family, and friendship that will live on for decades.

Ronal was a leader, a husband, a father, a grandfather, and above all, a man of God. For those of us who loved him, there’s an empty space today. But we rest in the peace of knowing he is with his Lord—whole, healed, and held. The only scars in heaven are the ones in the hands of Jesus, who is holding Ronal tight this morning.

We will always be fortunate that Dusty shared Ronal with the NDC family. Very few times in life do you meet someone who absolutely changes your life. Thank you, sir. We have it from here.

For those of us who love you, we will carry on your legacy and fight. 🕊️

Guys, we got some pretty devastating news this week. One of our own has been put on hospice.

Ronal Daniel is one of the most spectacular men I’ve ever had the privilege to know. The very first weekend I met him—back when NDC Outdoor Legacy was just an idea—he asked if he could pray over me for guidance. That moment was one of only three times in my life that I can honestly say God spoke directly to me.

It’s been an honor to call you my friend, sir. What a lot of folks don’t know is that every year Ron and I pinky-swore he’d be at the next JonBoat Classic. Looks like we’ll have to put those fishing trips on hold until we meet again, Pops.

I’ll see you on the other side, buddy.

Please keep the Daniel family in your prayers, everyone. ❤️

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

And as hard as this is, I hold on to the promise that “we do not grieve like those who have no hope” (1 Thessalonians 4:13).

Anyone who knows us knows how important Jeff and Ashlee Miller—and the entire Miller family—are to NDC Outdoor Legacy. Quite literally, we wouldn’t be here without them. From the very first idea of bringing veterans out for a weekend reset, they’ve been all in. Proud to see them get the recognition they deserve! 🇺🇸🤝

Meet the Millers: A Ranching Family Rooted in Legacy In the heart of Coleman County, Texas, where mesquite trees meet the skies, a legacy continues to thrive. The Miller family’s Cow Creek Ranch is more than a piece of land, it’s a living monument to generational grit, enduring tradition, and th...
