That one question from Lolo reminded me why Girls That S.P.A.R.K. exists.

Sometimes the greatest measure of impact isn't found in a statistic—it's hearing a young person say, "I want to be part of that."

Every girl deserves a village that helps her discover her confidence, purpose, and potential.

And as our village grows, so does our need for people who believe in this mission.

Last week, I had the privilege of sharing the heart behind 202Love with my business collective.

I began by asking everyone to close their eyes and think back to when they were teenagers.
❤️Who remembered to ask about your test?
❤️Who showed up to your games?
❤️Who encouraged you when you needed it most?
❤️Who made you feel seen, heard, loved, and protected?

For me, it wasn't just one person. It was a village.
That village inspired the creation of 202Love and our flagship mentoring program, Girls That S.P.A.R.K. It's our way of paying forward what was first poured into me.

I closed with a simple challenge:
"Now, I'm not asking you to close your eyes. I'm asking you to open them."

❤️Open them to the young women who need someone to believe in them.
❤️Open them to opportunities to make a difference.
❤️Open them to the people in your network who could become part of their village.

Today we celebrate CROWN Day!

A reminder that every girl deserves to show up as her authentic self, including wearing her natural hair with confidence and pride. 👑

At 202Love, through Girls That S.P.A.R.K., we believe every young woman carries a crown and a SPARK that no one can take away. They shine through her character, her purpose, her voice, and the beauty of who she was created to be.

To our girls: Wear your crown and your SPARK boldly. Wear your curls, coils, braids, locs, twist or whatever makes you uniquely you with confidence.

Because your crown isn't just what you wear...it's who you are. And your SPARK is meant to light the way for others.

2025, you were special!

This year, we welcomed our 4th cohort of Girls That S.P.A.R.K. and watched seven incredible girls grow from kickoff to graduation.

From Self, Purpose, Action, Responsibility, and Knowledge sessions.... to etiquette, heart health conversations, and community service with Feed the City…to exposure experiences, team-building, games, ziplining, laughter, and real connection.

What started with a fun kickoff turned into confidence, sisterhood, and growth—and ended with a graduation we’ll never forget.

Proud to officially add 7 more girls to the Girls That S.P.A.R.K. list.
Grateful for every moment, every lesson, every spark.
