Meet Cielo! ☁️🐰

This petite little lady is as soft as can be and has the sweetest, most polite personality. 💕 Cielo came to Gainesville Rabbit Rescue pregnant and was a wonderful mama to her babies. Now that her little ones are grown, it’s finally her turn to find a loving forever home!

She’s small, soft, sweet, and ready to leave her mama days behind her. Cielo is patiently waiting for her person to come along. 🥰

We received a package with no name as to who it was from, so for the follower of ours who sent the wooden toys and sisal toy with the dandelion and Oxbow treats, thank you so much, we appreciate it and the rabbits we know love these.

Bunny of the day is Don Julio. He is a Havana Mix born around June of 2022. This boy came into rescue as his human was deported. He came in very overweight and we are working hard to get him down to a great weight. He is a very sweet boy who just needs a great family to help him become the house rabbit we know he is. Don Julio is a very easy going boy and one of the sweetest and friendliest we have ever had. Due to a Malocclusion, all 4 front teeth have been removed.

Little Puffin is going to be scheduled for surgery as soon as we can get the surgeon and her other Vets together and all the details are ironed out. As soon as we have a date will advise.

URGENT: Puffin needs your help to heal 🐰💸
 
Puffin was found outside in Gainesville by a kind stranger, and is now safe with us. But safe isn’t the same as okay. Puffin has an injured leg and needs x-rays and medical care to heal.

We wish we could tell you this is a simple case. Truthfully, it’s coming at the hardest possible time. This year has brought us case after case of costly medical needs, and our funds are almost gone. Puffin is our last intake for the foreseeable future. We simply can’t take on more right now.

We need donations, today.

Every dollar goes directly toward Puffin’s x-rays and treatment, plus spay/neuter and RHDV vaccines for the rest of our rabbits. Without your support, we can’t give them the care they need to be safe and adoptable.

Thank you to those of you who have recently sent us some food pellets and yesterday some laundry detergent.
As we have said many times these donations help us pay for medical expenses.
As most know Exotic Vets at EC expensive and even a general exam can be lots of money.
We do accept financial donations and for the most part those again go to paying for medical, such as spay, neuter, f***l flotations, bloodwork and dental.

A little over a year ago on 8/18/25 we rescued 14 rabbits from an extremely hot garage. Most were fearful, had lots of fleas and were very thin. We worked with them and they all started to come around and know that being with us humans was a good thing.
This coming Sunday our sweet little Clover Leaf (all white) is being adopted by her foster mom which will leave us with only one more of that group, our little Music.
If you have ever wanted a small lionhead, check her out and help us say we found homes for the Garage 14.
As we have often said the hardest rabbits to adopt out are ruby eyed whites and then all black and you can see that at work here. Yet, these are some of the sweetest, easiest going and loving rabbits. Music is a very smart girl and she knows she would like to be home soon.
Music's nose had some injuries while in that garage that damaged the folicles. so she has some very sparse hair on the tip of her nose.

🧸 Teddy Bear 🧸

This sweet boy was found loose outside and is slowly but surely learning how to become a house bunny. He is currently in the process of bonding with a girl rabbit, so send all the best bonding vibes in the hopes that he not only has found his forever home, but also his bff! 💕

Fluffy, lop eared, and blue eyes? ✅ Patches is someone’s dream rabbit! Dumped on the streets, he was terribly matted and in rough shape when rescued. But after some love and care he is finally ready for his forever home. We are estimating him to be around 5 years old. If you enjoy grooming or have an older girl looking for a friend, send in an application for Patches! ♥️💘🩵
