How can employers be helpful when it comes to sickle cell in the workplace?

Diversity in the workplace also includes hiring and supporting individuals battling chronic medical conditions like sickle cell disease and supporting them in the best way they feel comfortable with.

As part of our celebration for Global Diversity Awareness Month in October, we are discussing the challenges individuals with face navigating the workplace and what kind of support employers should provide.
