KHB works to foster a healthy and balanced community. All of these projects could not happen without our volunteers and our members.

Keep Hall Beautiful is a non-profit, 501(c)3 and serves as the local certified affiliate of the national Keep America Beautiful system, as well as a state affiliate with Keep Georgia Beautiful. A community we want our kids to grow up in, where businesses want to develop, to be a flourishing community that attracts visitors, & a community where we are proactively environmentally friendly. KHB is dedicated to educating citizens about environmental stewardship, providing both traditional and non-traditional recycling opportunities, developing and fostering collaborative relationships with local and surrounding area organizations who support similar goals and missions, as well as providing a much needed community service program which is focused on local roadside clean-ups as well as illegal dumpsite removal. Through our volunteer projects, citizens of Hall County can be involved in community clean-ups, beautification efforts, recycling days, & special events.

A beautiful morning at Gardens on Green for our first fall In Bloom event. We observed signs of fall, collected leaves, and mad leaf rubbings. On our walk around the garden, we found sword beans, peppers, extending muscadine roots, beautyberry, fungi, and evidence of rain. We used observational skills and learned about native plants, too!

Join us next month on the 2nd Monday of the month at 10:30am. Our theme is Transformation.

These are the final days to register for the Green School Initiative this fall! Teachers and schools will gain a dedicated partner in their environmental and outdoor learning endeavors. Green Schools & Teachers qualify for free resource kits, in-class field trips, and support for special projects. The program is open to public, private, and homeschool programs and teachers.

We met with 8th grade students at North Hall Middle School this morning for their first annual Career Fair! Students were tasked with visiting various local businesses to learn about their programs, education, and how to solve real world problems. Thanks for having us, NHMS!

Thanks to our community for supporting us at our first community clean up and give back night vendettisgainesville! It was a beautiful day and we picked up over 50lbs of trash around Engine 209 and Midland Park. We can’t wait until the next one on December 15th.

A wild and wet Saturday at Elachee Nature Science Center for Wildlife Festival 2026. We had so much fun sharing about composting, recycling, and inspiring folks to help our environment!
