❤️ GIVE WARMTH. GIVE COMFORT. GIVE WITH A PURPOSE. ❤️

The Gainesville Phoenix Women’s Club is coming together to support Clothing with a Purpose , and we need YOUR help!

On September 17, we will be collecting lightly used, clean items to help provide clothing and comfort to men, women, and children in our community.

🧥 Winter clothing & coats
🧣 Blankets
🛏️ Queen-size or smaller sheet sets
👜 Tote bags
👨‍👩‍👧 Clothing for men, women & children

We are reaching out beyond our club and asking our fellow women’s clubs, civic organizations, friends, family, neighbors, and surrounding communities to join us in making a difference.

Sometimes the things sitting unused in our closets or linen closets are exactly what someone else needs. ❤️

If you have items you can donate, please consider gathering them up and helping us make this collection a success. One bag, one blanket, one coat at a time, we can make a difference.

Yesterday, members of GFWC Gainesville Phoenix Women’s Club had the privilege of partnering with Clothing with a Purpose to help make a difference in our community.

Two of our members delivered two truckloads of clothing donations and spent over two hours, sorting and organizing clothing, jewelry, bedding and more that will be distributed to a variety of organizations serving individuals and families in need. Every shirt folded every pair of shoes sorted, and every box organized, represents hope and dignity and compassion for someone facing difficult circumstances. 

Service is at the heart of who we are, and we are grateful for organizations like Clothing with a Purpose that worked tirelessly to ensure donated items reach those who need the most. It was an honor to lend a helping hand and see firsthand the incredible impact they have on our community. 

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated clothing, volunteer their time, and helped make this day possible. Together, we are proving that when a community comes together with a purpose, lives are changed.

We had a wonderful time at the GA Mountain Food Bank while Painting for a Cause. The bowls will be sent to the kiln before they are sold at their annual fundraiser! I think we did an excellent job on the bowls while sharing friendships.
