As the storm rolls through this evening, it feels fitting to pause and reflect on a day that has carried so much weight for our country โ€” and on the many ways our communities chose to remember it.

Twenty-five years later, North Georgians are still showing up in so many ways: climbing stairs in remembrance of the first responders who answered the call, filling fields with flags and raising them high in honor, and gathering together to reflect on a day
our nation will never forget.
