💛 Join Us for the NAMI Sharing Hope Conversation Series 💛

We are excited to offer our upcoming virtual Sharing Hope Series from 6:00–7:30 PM on:

NAMI Sharing Hope is a FREE, three-part community conversation series grounded in the sharing of sacred stories and guided dialogue on mental wellness, healing, and support.

If you are part of the Black/African ancestry community living in Northeast Georgia, we invite you to register today!

🗣️ Conversation 1:
“How do we know when we are well?”
Using a video discussion prompt, we’ll explore mental wellness and what it means within our community.

🩺 Conversation 2:
A clinician who represents our community will help demystify mental health support, answer questions, and discuss wellness and care.

🤝 Conversation 3:
Learn about local mental health services, resources, and ways to connect with NAMI Hall for help and support.

✅ FREE to attend
✅ Open to adults who identify as Black/African ancestry living in Northeast Georgia
✅ Up to $30 in e-gift cards per adult for completing the series!

Today, EAZZ supported the 2025 NAMIWalks in Hall County at Rock Creek Veterans Park in Gainesville, GA.

NAMIWalks is a beautiful celebration of mental health advocacy, community, and hope. We’re excited to share that we raised over $400 in support of mental health initiatives! 💙✨

💚 Hall Goes Green for Mental Health Spotlight 💚

A huge thank you to Center Point GA for taking part in our Hall Goes Green for Mental Health initiative!

Center Point provides counseling services for children, teens, adults, couples, and families — offering hope, healing, emotional support, life skills education, and mentoring through both in-person and virtual services. Their intern-based counseling program also helps provide affordable support to Hall County and Gainesville City Schools students and families.

We are especially grateful for their partnership with NAMI Hall County by providing space for their free mental health support groups held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month — including tonight at 6:30 PM! Support groups are available for your own mental health journey or to support someone you care about, with Spanish-language options available as well.

💚 Hall Goes Green for Mental Health Spotlight 💚

A special thank you to Thrive Gainesville Counseling for participating in Hall Goes Green for Mental Health for their second year!

Led by Joy Kelleher, a social worker, consultant, international speaker, and founder of Project Yet, Inc., Thrive Gainesville Counseling provides trauma-informed, holistic care for children, families, couples, and individuals. Joy brings extensive experience in trauma, advocacy, and human trafficking prevention and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified EMDR Therapist, and specialist in anxiety treatment, somatic psychotherapy, and neuropsychotherapy.

The practice also includes Maria G. Ibarra, a bilingual therapist providing compassionate, culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to individuals and families, especially underserved and Spanish-speaking communities. As a bilingual provider, Maria understands the unique barriers many face, including immigration-related trauma, mental health stigma, language and cultural gaps in care, and the challenges of navigating between cultures. Her goal is to create a healing space where individuals feel seen, heard, respected, and empowered.

We still has space available in our upcoming FREE Virtual NAMI Basics Class and we need your help connecting families to this resource!

NAMI Basics is a free 6-session education program for parents, caregivers, and family members supporting youth (ages 22 and under) experiencing mental health symptoms.

This program provides:
✔️ Practical tools & resources
✔️ Education about youth mental health & treatment options
✔️ Communication & problem-solving skills
✔️ Advocacy strategies for school & healthcare settings
✔️ A supportive space to connect with others who understand

🗓 Dates: June 10 – July 15
⏰ Wednesdays | 12:00 PM – 2:30 PM EST

NAMI Family & Friends is a 90-minute seminar designed for people who want to support a loved one living with a mental health condition. Whether you are a family member, partner, friend, coworker, or community member, this program provides valuable information, practical strategies, and tools for understanding and supporting someone on their mental health journey.

In this seminar, you will learn about:
✨ Mental health conditions and recovery
✨ How to communicate and support your loved one
✨ Self-care and caring for yourself while supporting others
✨ Resources and ways to find help and hope

You do not have to navigate this journey alone. We would love to have you join us!
