🩺🚁 Enrichment Camp Day 1 Recap 🚁🩺

What an incredible start to the week!

Today, our students went behind the scenes at Warren Memorial Hospital, where they met healthcare leaders, toured the lab, learned about bedside care, participated in a panel discussion, and even observed a surgery in progress. They also got up-close and personal with an ambulance and a medevac helicopter.

These experiences help students explore career possibilities and see firsthand what’s possible for their future.

A special thank you to Valley Health – Warren Memorial Hospital, Emily Burner, Jennifer Coello, Dr. James Freilich, MD, and the many staff members who made today possible. We’re also grateful to Scott Fink for transportation and to our sponsors, Philip Vaught and Lisa Mauck, for helping create opportunities like this for local students.

Students will:

❀️ Tour multiple departments including the ER, Medivac, and Surgical Centers
πŸ†˜ Finish the session by earning CPR your certification
