It is Memorial Day Weekend, and as is our tradition, Scouting America Troop 4 will be kicking off their 2025 Wreaths Across America Campaign. Please take a moment this weekend to remember the fallen heroes who sacrificed it all for our freedom. Memorial Day is about their memory. As you enjoy your freedom this weekend, please don't forget why you are able to do so.

The weather was cold and wet, but we did not forget our fallen heroes. Once again, thank you to everyone that joined BSA Troop 4 at this year's Wreaths Across America ceremony.

This year's ceremony may be completed but we work to collect donations for wreaths all year long. Consider donating today and throughout the year so that as many veteran's graves as possible will receive a wreath next Christmas. We had 288 wreaths this year but are told there are approximately 2000 veterans buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery. 288 wreaths have been delivered for the Wreaths Across America ceremony to be held on Sunday, December 15th at 1:00 pm at Prospect Hill Cemetery. Please join BSA Troop 4 for this solemn event and help them remember our country's fallen heroes.

The Wreaths Across America Convoy is on its way. Wreaths are expected in Front Royal for the Prospect Hill ceremony tomorrow.

Have you sponsored a wreath to be placed on a veteran's grave this December? Your $17 sponsorship places a fresh, balsam veteran's wreath on the headstone or final resting place of an American hero. BSA Troop 4 will be holding a local ceremony at Prospect Hill Cemetery on December 15th. We are told there are approximately 2000 veteran graves on Prospect Hill.
