🚨 THE FINAL PUSH: We are officially in the last week of our member drive!

We started August with 117 members. Because of this incredible community, we are currently at 137 members. We have just 7 days left to hit our absolute target of 200.

Out of our 30,000 followers, we only need 63 more people to stand up and join the pack. That's at minimum of $1,890 and it will go a long way helping to care for the animals in our facility!

If you have been scrolling past our posts all month thinking, "someone else will do it," this is your sign. We need you!

Whether you are an individual joining or a local business wanting to show your community pride, your membership directly funds our incoming rescues.

Our animal shelter is completely funded by our local community. 🐻😂 BROWN BEAR: PART-TIME MODEL, FULL-TIME SILLY BOY! 😂🐻
If Brown Bear’s pictures don’t make you smile, we’re not sure what will! 📸🤣 This 10-month-old Pit Mix is basically a giant ball of puppy energy with a heart just as big! ❤️
At around 55 pounds, Brown Bear has somehow convinced himself that he is still a tiny lap puppy… and he has absolutely NO idea how much energy he has! 😂🐾
🎾 Playful? Absolutely!
🧸 Loves toys? YES!
🌳 Loves being outside? You bet!
❤️ Loves people? SO much!
🤣 Silly? 1000%!
Brown Bear is incredibly sweet and loves attention. He just hasn’t quite figured out that his enthusiasm can sometimes be a LOT! An active family would be the perfect match for this boy—someone who can keep his body and brain busy and help him learn that not every moment needs to be MAXIMUM ENERGY. 😂
Brown Bear and his future family will both benefit from training to help him learn manners, boundaries, and how to channel all that puppy energy appropriately. He’s smart, playful, and eager to have fun, so we think he’ll be a blast to work with!
❤️ A note about Brown Bear’s heartworm treatment:
Brown Bear has completed his heartworm treatment and is doing well! Because he has had heartworm disease, he will need to remain on heartworm preventive for the rest of his life and have occasional heartworm testing, which is simply done through routine blood work. 🩸🐾
Brown Bear is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
Now all he needs is a family who is ready for lots of laughs, lots of playtime, lots of toys, and one very silly boy! 🐻😂❤️
Just look at those pictures… Brown Bear clearly has a personality bigger than his 55-pound body! 📸🤣

Our girl Shadow went on a hike with our cat team manager Gillian and had a blast! This is what she had to say about Shadow on her excursion! "Shadow was a great hiking buddy today. True to her name she stuck by my side the whole time, no pulling at all. She likes to stop for the occasional treat and then straight back to business for her. She was very laidback in the car to and from." 🐾 Meet Shadow! 🐾
🌙 Shadow is a 2-year-old Husky girl looking for her forever family! 🌙
Shadow may be a little shy at first, but give her some time, patience, and space to get comfortable, and you’ll get to see the super playful, sweet girl hiding underneath! 💕 Once she opens up, Shadow is ready to have fun and show you just how much personality she has!

💗 Sweet and playful once she feels comfortable!
We think Shadow would thrive with an active family who will give her plenty of opportunities for exercise, playtime, and adventure. She would do best with kids who understand that she may need a little time to warm up and who will respect her boundaries and give her the space she needs while she gets comfortable. 🥰
We are unsure how Shadow is with cats, so slow, patient introductions and careful management would be best.
Shadow is already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. ❤️

🐾💙 HE’S A BRICK HOUSE! 💙🐾
Meet 10-month-old Bricks, and let us tell you… this boy is a BRICK HOUSE! 😂💪🐶 At around 60–65 pounds, Bricks is one BIG puppy with an even bigger heart!
Bricks is very much still a puppy and has NO idea just how big he is! He absolutely LOVES kids and is incredibly sweet with them, but his puppy excitement can sometimes make him a little rough or cause an accidental tumble. He just hasn’t figured out that he’s not a 10-pound puppy anymore! 😂❤️
He loves adults just as much and is a total sweetheart who enjoys attention and affection. 🥰
🐕 Dog friendly! Bricks does well with other dogs. With smaller dogs, he doesn’t quite understand that he is MUCH bigger than they are and may accidentally play too rough. His previous owner reports that if he realizes he’s too rough, he backs off immediately. A proper dog introduction is always recommended.
🎾 Loves toys! This playful boy is always ready for some fun!
🏡 Housetrained & crate trained! ✅
⚡ An active family would be best! Bricks has plenty of puppy energy and would love a family ready to give him exercise, playtime, training, and lots of opportunities to burn off that energy.

He may be built like a Brick House, but this big boy is still just a goofy puppy trying to figure out where all those legs and pounds are supposed to go! 😂🐾

Taz is a little guy with a huge personality.

Found in a box bedside the road and brought to us sick and underweight: as he recovered his personality started to shine through. He’s grown up with other cats and loves them so we would like to see him go to a home where you either already have another cat or would be willing to adopt him with another kitten, so he can continue to learn and play.

Taz is 4 months old, neutered, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/ FeLV.

🐾❤️ MEET PUP! ❤️🐾
Sometimes the dogs who haven’t had the best start in life are the ones who appreciate a little love the most. 🥹 Meet 3-year-old Pup, a 30-ish pound Pit Mix who is ready to discover just how wonderful life can be! 🐶💙
Pup can be a little shy when he first meets you, but give him a little time and patience and his spunky, curious personality starts to shine. Once he knows he’s safe, Pup absolutely LOVES being loved on! 🥰
Outside is where Pup really gets to show his curious side. He wants to check out everything around him and take in all the sights and smells. He also walks well on leash, is housetrained, and does pretty well riding in the car. 🚗🐾
Pup has unfortunately not had the best life before coming to us and was kept outside most of the time. We’d love nothing more than to find him a family who will show him what it means to be safe, loved, included, and part of a family. ❤️
🐕 Dogs: Pup is dog selective and seems to prefer female dogs. A dog test will be required with any current dog in the home.
🐱 Cats: His previous owner said he was interested in cats but generally indifferent toward them. As always, slow and patient introductions are best.
👧 Kids: He has only been around older children, so we recommend a home with older kids who can respect his space while he gets comfortable.
Pup is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. ✅
This sweet boy may need a little time to come out of his shell, but we think the family willing to give him that time is going to discover one pretty special dog. 💙

We have some adorable kittens and their sweet mama ready for adoption!

All 4 of the kittens are 10 week old neutered males. They’ve grown up in a foster home and are very well socialized and playful. If you don’t currently have another kitten or young cat we do require they be adopted in pairs - we offer BOGO specials.

Mama Pastel is very friendly and can go to a home by herself, we recommend slow introductions if you have other cats/ dogs. She is 1 year old and is spayed.

Manuka (standing, female) and Kulta (sitting, male) would love to find a home together. They were very scared when they first arrived but have gained a lot of confidence with each other’s help. Kulta is more outgoing but manuka will follow his lead, he helps her come out of her shell.

Both are still very young at only about 1 year old so we feel they would really blossom in a home with someone willing to give them some time to adjust. They are cat friendly but would need slow introductions with a dog.

Both of them are altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/ FeLV. We offer BOGO adoption specials for bonded pairs as well.
