Join us for an evening of floral arranging as we remember the Shaheed Bibiyan of 1984—the women whose courage, faith, and strength continue to leave an impact on our Panth. Through bouquet making, conversation, and reflection, we’ll take a moment to honor their stories and reflect on the legacy they’ve left for us as Kaurs.

Whether you’ve been to every Kaur’s Club meeting or this is your first one, we’d love to have you there 🤍

Bhujangan Kaur Leadership Academy, since 2012, combines Sikh education & history, identity workshops, outdoor adventure, and personal growth. It’s a place to be a Kaur. To share in sisterhood.

This past weekend, we hosted a Know Your Rights (KYR) presentation for the sangat at Gurdwara Sahib Stockton. Led by Jasjit Singh, Director of Legal Services, the session focused on immigrant rights, how to respond during encounters with ICE, and the importance of creating a family safety plan.

Thank you to all the sangat and Misl members who joined us and helped make this event a success.

The Jakara 209 team will be tabling from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Following that, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we will be hosting our inaugural “Know Your Rights” session led by Jasjit Singh, Director of Legal Services at Jakara Movement.
This informative session will cover important topics including:
• Immigration rights
• How to respond when encountering ICE
• Creating a family safety plan
• Basic worker rights for immigrants
We encourage all members of the sangat to attend and take advantage of this valuable opportunity to learn about their rights and available resources.
