Something Great is coming to the Central Valley!

We’re excited to be a Community Partner of the inaugural Great Valley Gathering happening October 2-4, 2026 at Courthouse Park in Fresno! This free, three-day event is presented by Alliance for California Traditional Arts in collaboration with the Smithsonian Folklife.

FIRM will have a booth featuring community resources, LIVE performances, and lots of goodies! Come by, connect with us, enjoy the entertainment, and see what FIRM has to offer. We can’t wait to see you there!

Watch the Hill Tribe Fusion Fashion Show on Saturday at 3:00 PM, October 3rd at the Great Valley Gathering as we present traditional Hmong clothing and modern Hmong inspired designs. Our MC will be Pachia Lucy Vang as we collaborate with Culture through Cloth. This free three day event is hosted by Alliance for California Traditional Arts in partnership with Smithsonian's “Our Shared Future: 250”. The event runs from Oct 2-4 at Courthouse Park in Fresno. Free, family-friendly, and full of incredible Central Valley culture. Hope to see you there!

To celebrate two years of Paj Ntaub Circle, Culture through Cloth is hosting a community-wide paj ntaub competition and giveaway!

Anyone in the U.S. who has made paj ntaub—finished or unfinished, from any year—is welcome to enter. You do not need to have attended Paj Ntaub Circle.

HOW IT WORKS:

📸 All entries will be showcased in our Facebook voting gallery
🏆 Top-voted piece wins $100
🎁 All other entries enter a giveaway drawing featuring prizes from:
