Behind every successful person, there is often a teacher who believed in them, even when they doubted themselves. Their words, guidance, patience, and kindness leave a lasting impact on our lives.

Today, we honor and celebrate all the wonderful teachers who dedicate themselves to shaping minds, inspiring hearts, and building a better future.

From a rented slum to an engineering career: Meet Mynuddin! ✨
Growing up in extreme financial hardship in Dhaka, Mynuddin faced incredible odds. But through Aalok Shikkhaloy—an Agami-supported school—he received the foundation he needed to thrive.
Fast forward to today: Mynuddin completed his Diploma in Engineering, works at Bashundhara Cement Factory, and is pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Engineering! 🎓⚙️
Stories like Mynuddin’s are why we are gathering on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Aria Banquet Hall (Milpitas) for our Annual Fundraiser: Education for Every Child.

A team member of the Agami School Program recently visited Kalapani Non-Govt. Primary School in Khagrachhari to assess the impact that Agami has created in the community over the past five years. Through student surveys and Focus Group Discussions with teachers and parents, we gathered both data and lived experiences.

What stood out most was the students’ enthusiasm for learning and the community’s reflections on their journey. These experiences reaffirm that sustainable educational support is about more than numbers - it is about creating meaningful and lasting opportunities.

Improving English Teaching (IET) recently conducted a comprehensive field visit to two partner schools in Netrokona, laying the groundwork for sustainable English-learning opportunities. The visit engaged English teachers as well as local Reading Mentors and the key activities included:
• Two Teachers’ Workshops
• One Volunteers’/Reading Mentors’ Workshop
• Establishment of a digital monitoring and evaluation framework for the Reading Program
• Establishment of IET English Clubs and libraries at both schools
• Distribution of English storybooks
• Two classroom observations to assess teachers’ needs and inform upcoming training opportunities
Through these initiatives, IET continues to ensure joyful, structured, and sustainable English learning for all.
