🌿May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
When we think about domestic violence, we often focus on physical safety but the impact reaches far beyond what we can see.
Domestic violence and mental health are deeply interconnected. Survivors often carry the emotional and psychological effects of abuse long after the immediate harm has ended. At the same time, conversations about prevention require us to understand the roles of trauma, emotional wellbeing, accountability, and healthy relationships.
We invite our community to move beyond awareness and toward understanding.
Let's create spaces where survivors are believed, healing is supported, mental health is prioritized, and accountability is part of the conversation.
