Founded in 1995, StarStruck Theatre is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of youth and our community by providing theatre arts education, performance opportunities, and musical productions of uncompromising quality. Our programs develop leadership, emphasize responsibility, cultivate self-confidence, and foster teamwork in a supportive environment. This upcoming season

marks StarStruck Theatre’s 20th anniversary of producing quality musicals in Fremont! StarStruck mixes a professional training and performance environment with the relaxed fun and enthusiasm of a youth community theatre. It is this combination that attracts both the youngest, most inexperienced beginners and the theatrical veteran alike. Our inclusive atmosphere allows them all to share in the magic of creating a musical. All cast members receive intensive training in singing, dancing and acting, while learning about other technical aspects of theater as well. StarStruck prides itself on the fact that it is the only year-round non-profit youth theatre company in the Tri-City area. Many of our graduates have gone on to continue studies in music and theater in college and even professional theater companies from their training. StarStruck produces two main stage shows a year (January and July/Aug) at The Smith Center at Ohlone College. Recently, StarStruck has added a spring show that performs in the Valhalla Theatre at Irvington High School. StarStruck’s education program, START, Student Training in the Arts offers year round classes in all areas of theatre as well as summer camp programs.

Our Fall 2026 performance classes give young performers the chance to bring together singing, dancing, and acting while building confidence and experiencing the excitement of putting on a show.

This fall’s lineup includes:

Kids on Broadway | Ages 5–6
Wednesdays, 3:45–4:30pm

StarKids | Ages 7–9
Wednesdays, 4:30–5:45pm

Mini Musical Friday: Shrek KIDS! | Ages 8–12
Fridays, 3:45–6:15pm

From a first introduction to musical theatre to rehearsing and performing a full 45-minute musical, there’s an opportunity for performers at every stage to sing, dance, act, and shine!

It’s time to take your tap experience to the next level. Join us on September 12th for an opportunity to tap with Broadway Star, Danny Gardner! Danny is currently starring as Lumiere in the National Tour of Beauty and the Beast in San Jose from September 8th-13th. Join us for this Master Class for a chance to brush up your tapping, learn new combinations, and have a chance to work with a Broadway Star at StarStruck Theatre!

Thank you to everyone who came out to see Newsies and supported this incredible cast throughout the past three weekends!

From opening night to our final bow, we loved sharing this story with you and seeing the Smith Center filled with so much energy and support.

This fall’s lineup includes:

Tap for Musical Theatre | Ages 8–16
Thursdays, 4:00–5:00pm

Jazz for Musical Theatre | Ages 8–16
Thursdays, 5:00–6:00pm

Musical Theatre Dance Bootcamp | Ages 13–19
Thursdays, 6:00–8:00pm
Recommendation required

All three classes are taught by StarStruck MainStage choreographer Francesca Roma and focus on building the technique, strength, flexibility, and confidence performers need onstage.
