As we wrap up our July commitments we are thankful to our Q2 sevadars who went above & beyond with not only the TLC they poured into their dinner drop offs but also the extra essentials that benefit the residents (backpacks, dental hygiene kits, feminine products, and even goodies for the kids).

Sahaita USA's volunteer-run Yellow Bag Project partnered with staff at Santa Clara Valley Health Foundation to brighten the days of 10 children currently admitted with chronic illness. From pneumonia to cancer, individual circumstances vary but our activity gift bags will offer a meaningful dose of yellow - a symbol of hope, happiness, and comfort during difficult times.

This round of gift bags includes coloring books, markers, ceramic crafts/painting, and a weighted plush stuffed animal for comfort.

This , Sahaita USA held it's 5th ✨️Mela Melana Da✨️, a senior women's picnic celebrating grandmothers & their wealth of wisdom. Sprinkled with laughter, each conversation brings these women closer together. They draw similarities in their journeys and discuss the beauties and difficulties of life today.

🙏🏽 Major props to our 📍Sacramento volunteers who pour their heart & soul into this passion project. Bridging generations keeps the community connected, and enhances a deeper understanding of one another. It’s an amazing dedication and will to do which has lead us close to SHSG trust.
