Small acts of service can create meaningful change.

We are grateful to our volunteers who came together to help prepare the new One Child location, bringing this space closer to serving the children and families who depend on their important work.

These before-and-after photos capture the care, teamwork, and dedication that went into transforming the space. From organizing areas to adding finishing touches, every contribution helped make this location more welcoming and ready for its next chapter.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who shared their time, energy, and skills to support this effort. Your commitment reflects the true spirit of Service Above Self.

Together, we continue to make a difference in our community.

Welcoming esteemed Rotarian Jeboy Koshy to our club.

Jeboy has been extremely active in global giving. He has himself sponsored many global grants for projects around the world. Years ago, he formed the world community service committee WCSC, which leverages the power of many clubs coming together to do amazing projects, and which is still active today.

So many great things to say about Jeboy. I love this man, and we welcome him to Mission San Jose Rotary with all our hearts. We are a stronger club with you on board, Jeboy. here here!!!

🏆 Congratulations Hilda Norwalk on receiving the district 5170 Avenues of Service Award. Thanks DG Geeta Kadambi for recognizing her work.

🙌 She’s been working countless hours at Levi’s Stadium, earning money for our community projects.

👏 Hilda not only volunteers herself, but she helps organize others to do the same for their clubs. If you’re interested in volunteering, please reach out. Hilda and I would love to hear from you.

For years now Hilda Norwalk has been working at Levi's Stadium - not for herself - but to raise money for our community. She volunteers her time and coordinates other Rotarians to do the same, earning money which is donated to our Club's Foundation. Cheers to Hilda! Service Above Self! Happy Birthday!

I have accepted this club excellence award on behalf of the Mission San Jose Rotary Club, presented to me by our district governor Herb Ritter. It basically means that we not only accomplished all the goals that we set out to do as a club, but we did so excellently!

So proud of my Rotary Club. The biggest little club around, we are 22 members and growing strong.

As President of Mission San Jose Rotary and representing our Club at the RI convention in Taipei this year, I had an absolute blast.

Meeting up with fellow Rotarians, getting a chance to show people around the city I’ve come to love over the last 25 years was really fun. Taipei – what an amazing spot! Close to my heart.

As always, I learned a ton and come back refreshed, inspired, and totally exhausted 😎🎉🥵

And I am definitely looking forward to some cooler weather.

Meanwhile… Here are some pictures.

Seeing our community come together in action makes moments like this truly meaningful

This weekend, members of our club rolled up their sleeves to help renovate a new office space for One Child "Clothing the Spirit", an organization that supports underserved children and low-income families with clothing, school supplies, and essential resources.

Instead of hiring an outside renovation company, our club stepped in to help transform the donated space and save the charity thousands of dollars. From clearing out the area to working on renovations together, every helping hand made a difference.

We’re proud to continue supporting One Child and look forward to helping with the final move-in soon!

What an amazing Saturday serving our community.

Our club came together to help renovate a new office space for One Child, an organization that supports underserved children and low-income families with new clothes, school supplies, and other essential resources.

Washington Health in Fremont donated the unused space, and by stepping in to do the renovation work ourselves, we were able to help save the charity thousands of dollars.

We’re excited to continue helping with the final move-in once the space is ready!

We’ve proudly supported One Child "Clothing the Spirit" for years, and it’s always rewarding to be part of something that makes a real difference in the lives of children and families in our community.
