The price of heating oil in Maine has soared from $3.34 per gallon one year ago to $5.97 today, a jump of roughly 79%.

Save the date! On Tuesday, November 3, Portland Public Health will be at FCS leading a workshop on how to use Narcan to save a life. This community training is free and open to everyone.

This Saturday, October 17 from 10-11:30 a.m., ArtVan is hosting a special workshop at FCS. Artist Darcy Duda will teach participants how to make 3 unique window hangings using ink and watercolor. Proceeds from the workshop help ArtVan support their creative programs. All supplies included.
