TRICK OR TREAT… AND A LITTLE EXTRA TRAFFIC!

Freehold Township Recreation will be hosting its Trunk or Treat in the Park event on Wednesday, October 28th, from 3:30–6:00 PM at Michael J. Tighe Park!

This is a great community event for families with children ages 2–14, featuring treats, costumes, a haunted maze, and plenty of spooky fun!

ATTENTION FTLL FAMILIES HEADING TO GAMES!

With all the extra ghosts, goblins, and trick-or-treaters making their way to MJT, expect heavier traffic and limited parking availability!

Leave a little earlier!
Allow extra time getting into and through the park!
Be extra careful driving though the park
Plan ahead for parking!

We don’t want anyone missing the first pitch because they’re stuck in a Halloween traffic jam!

Thanks for your patience, and enjoy the spooky fun! 🧡🖤

As we wrap up our fall season, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you.

We know things aren't always perfect, and we know there are always ways we can improve. But we also know how fortunate we are to have such a dedicated community of families and volunteers who make this league what it is.

To all of our players, parents, coaches, managers, and volunteers, thank you for making our 2026 spring season, summer All-Star season, and fall season such a success. Your time, patience, enthusiasm, and commitment are what keep this league going.

And while our fall season may be coming to an end, there's plenty more baseball and softball ahead!

Registration for our winter clinics and Spring 2027 season will be opening soon, so keep an eye out for more information in the coming weeks.

I often end our emails and social media posts with the words, "This is FTLL."

But the truth is, FTLL isn't just a board of directors, a collection of fields, or a name on a uniform. It's the parents who show up, the volunteers who give their time, the coaches who teach, and the kids who take the field.

You are FTLL.

And we thank you for being part of it.

🥎 **FREEHOLD SOFTBALL FAMILIES — HELP US BUILD SOMETHING FOR SPRING 2027!** 🥎

**Have a daughter ages 13–16 who wants to keep playing softball? We want to hear from you!**

As girls get older, school sports, travel teams, and other commitments often make it difficult to form recreational softball teams. Unfortunately, that can leave girls who still love the game without a place to play.

**Freehold Township Little League wants to change that.**

We're getting an early start on Spring 2027 by building an interest list for our 13U–16U softball divisions. Our goal is simple: find out how many girls in our community want to play and work toward giving them that opportunity.

🥎 All experience levels are welcome!

🥎 No registration fee or commitment required.

🥎 Just let us know you're interested!

**If your daughter is interested, please complete our short interest survey.**

**Let's give these girls another season, another team, and another chance to play the game they love.**

AND A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR FTLL COMMUNITY!

Our Foodstock collection has officially wrapped up, and we want to thank EVERYONE who donated food, volunteered, or helped spread the word! Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference, and we appreciate everyone who helped make our FTLL Gives Back initiative a success!

At FTLL, it’s about more than baseball and softball. It’s about teaching our kids the importance of kindness, compassion, and giving back.

Now let’s turn those fields PINK! 🎀💗

10/17/2026

Due to last night‘s weather, all fields at MJT are closed today. Please check your individual teams GameChanger for status on your teams games.

10/14/2026

If you want an individual sport, play golf, bowling, or tennis.

In baseball and softball, the stage is ruthlessly individual, but the outcome is completely interdependent.

Teamwork doesn’t dilute personal achievement—it creates the launchpad for it. The clutch hit builds on the walk before it. The shutout depends on the gloves behind the mound.

The team doesn’t ask you to sacrifice your greatness; it gives you the foundation to accomplish far more than you ever could alone. ⚾🥎

10/12/2026

Mother Nature may have turned off the rain, but apparently she forgot to drain the fields!

Unfortunately, the puddles won this one and all FTLL games AND practices are canceled tonight due to field conditions.

Here’s hoping the fields dry out and we’re back to playing ball tomorrow!
