VEGGIE GARDEN UPDATE: Due to the hard work of our volunteer crew, progress is happening! The mulch piles are growing by leaps and bounds. Both long beds are cleared and raised and ready for planting! Onion sets and bush beans were planted in the raised beds today and potatoes went into the ground. The lower fence is repaired and secured. Next move is the second layer of deer fencing and then we wait for steady warmth to plant the tomatoes, peppers squash, eggplant and zucchini. Anyone interested in donating vegetable plants is welcome to send us a message here or just drop the plants off inside the gate.
